
“Bayesian Big Data Analytics in Biomedical Research: Understanding Gene-gene and gene-environment interactions in Brain Tumor.”
Since joining the Stempel faculty in 2009, Dr. Changwon Yoo has been funded as principal investigator, co-principal investigator and consultant by agencies such as the National Institute of Health, National Science Foundation, and Department of Defense. In 2012, Dr. Yoo received a four year NIH grant as a principal investigator to build a statistical model to better understanding brain cancer progression. The success of his independent research program is evident by his publications in peer reviewed journals.
