Research Administrators Certificate Course

The Research Administrators Certificate Course is an online course that was designed to assist the University research community in better understanding the administration and compliance requirements of sponsored research at FIU. The Course is comprised of twelve modules from proposal preparation through project close-out and research compliance obligations. You may take each module at your convenience. You will receive FIU professional development credit for each module completed and a certificate of completion when you complete all modules.

To register for this Course please visit the Human Resources webpage at: https://professionaldevelopment.fiu.edu. Note that each of the twelve sessions is identified separately at that site and you must select the radio button next to each session and click Select to register. You must register for all twelve sessions. You will receive a confirmation email once registered for each session. You will also need to access the Moodle learning management system to obtain Course documents and information located at: https://fiumdl.fiu.edu/. It is recommended that the Mozilla Firefox browser be used to access Moodle. Log in by selecting the Log in tool located at the top right section of the page and log in with your FIU MyAccounts UserName and Password. Finally, select the Office of Research and Economic Development course titled ORED Certificate Course located in the My courses folder under the Navigation Section. Please note that if you have not enrolled in a Moodle eCampus course in the past, you will need to sign in at least once prior to receiving access.
