Why should I maintain my profile in Discovery?
There are a number of reasons why it is beneficial to maintain information in Discovery.
Who has a profile in Discovery?
Currently profiles are created for active faculty with 9 and 12 month contracts. It is anticipated that profiles will be created in the future for other populations of people.
Can you load the information I entered into Panther180 into Discovery?
At this time, Discovery is not integrating data from Panther180 into Discovery. However, the data entered into Panther180 is being assessed for future integration possibilities.
Can I populate my website with the information from Discovery?
We are currently developing mechanisms that will allow you to automate information from Discovery to your website. We are also working with related resources on campus to populate other university websites/faculty directories.
Can I change my name?
Yes, you can change your name by editing your profile. See the ‘Set Preferred Name’ in the ‘Edit Your Discovery Profile’ guide in user resources for more information.
How can I search Discovery?

Can someone help my edit my profile?
Yes, you can submit a request for assistance with your profile.
I already maintain another public profile (i.e. Website, Google Scholar, ResearchGate). How can Discovery help me?
Maintaining your digital presence in multiple places is important and Discovery can help you organize and drive traffic to those locations. See the ‘Edit Your Discovery Profile’ guide in the user resources for more information.
I am receiving a ‘Permission Denied’ message when trying to login to edit profile. What should I do?
If you have a profile in Discovery and are receiving a permission denied error message when attempting to log in, please try the following steps.
