Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC)
The Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, in accordance with the ITAR, is charged with controlling the export and temporary import of defense articles and defense services covered by the United States Munitions List (USML). This site provides background information about the DDTC as well as links to other important information regarding the ITAR.
