IACUC Training and Education

The Office of Research Integrity provides access to a number of different trainings and educational resources to educate investigators on the protection of animals in research. Investigators have access to online training courses, training presentations, training workshops, and external training resources.

Training Requirements

Important Notice: A new CITI Training Module has been added that is more applicable to our Field Studies Researchers.  This module will replace the “Working with the IACUC” training that was previously required for field studies.  However, should you have recently re-taken your CITI training (Working with the FIU IACUC), you will not be required to take the new Field Studies module until your current training has expired.  The following are the new training module names:

  • Working with the FIU IACUC ““ Field Course ““ for Field/Wildlife Studies
  • Working with the FIU IACUC ““ Lab Course ““ for Laboratory Studies

Please note the above trainings will be good for 3 years.

Visit the IACUC Training Requirements web page for more information.
