Mission

The mission of Research Information Systems (RIS) is to strengthen the information technology/data infrastructure for research and graduate studies processes at Florida International University(FIU).

Under the guidance of an advisory group, Research Information Systems leads the creation and implementation of university-wide information technology and data strategy and initiatives impacting the research and graduate studies communities.

The team also directly helps researchers identify solutions for their cyberinfrastructure needs by directing them to available university, state and national resources.
